Aside from creating some absolute gems with his debut album Rise, Lane 8 is also a dab-hand on the remix front – in fact, last year’s edit of Maribou State’s Wallflower has gone down as one of our favourite remixes this decade, and today, the British producer looks to up that ante with his glistening interpretation of Icarus and Aurora’s already-gorgeous Home.
In a nutshell, like the original, Lane 8’s created something that futuretronic fans will adore – it’s rare to get a jam that’s as suited to ‘chilling on the sofa with some candles on’ as it is to the dancefloors, but this one absolutely nails it.
