Todd Edwards has dropped a stellar new free download onto the web, fusing AlunaGeorge’s I’m In Control with Janet Jackson’s iconic Control, to form the aptly-titled Who’s In Control.
Sharing the track on his Soundcloud earlier this evening, the legendary 4/4 producer said “I heard AlunaGeorge’s “I’m In Control” dub and it instantly put me in a good mood. Such positive vibes! I put it on repeat and found myself singing Janet Jackson’s “Control” over it. What a great edit it would make. It’s one of my favorite Janet songs. I wish I could have seen Janet in concert back then when I was 13, but I didn’t have the cash to go. I loved Janet’s moves from the “Control” video as well. I actually would try to dance like her, but please don’t tell anyone 😉 Enjoy the edit. Much love to the queens Janet and AlunaGeorge!”
