Stevie Wonder is to bring his landmark record Songs In The Key Of Life to London later this summer, organisers of Hyde Park’s British Summer Time Festival have announced.
Confirmed earlier this morning, the R&B superstar’s appointment follows in a huge string of big-names for BST, which includes the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Massive Attack, Take That and Florence and the Machine. Stevie will hit the mainstage on 10th July.
Songs In The Key Of Life has been a full live set on its own terms since 2014, and has won numerous awards since the album’s original release in 1975. With a tracklisting that spans the likes of I Wish and Isn’t She Lovely, the live show has been described as “triumphant and huge” from Rolling Stone, so expect much of the same when the set lands on the UK shores.
