Ahead of his upcoming UK tour, Wilkinson has shared his all-new release Flatline.
Premiered last night as Annie Mac’s latest ‘Hottest Record’, Flatline hears the DnB producer hook up with Wretch 32 for the first time, with the track officially confirmed as the first single from Wilkinson’s upcoming sophomore studio album.
“I wanted to keep it on a drum and bass tip” Wilkinson says of the song, adding “but work with an artist to bridge the D&B and hip-hop scenes in an interesting and distinctly British fashion. I’m into REAL rappers, and personally for me, the finest lyricist in the UK is Wretch. He’s a rapper’s rapper! His punchlines and delivery are incredible, and I’m really happy with how the record turned out!”
