Janet Jackson has cancelled the forthcoming UK leg of her Unbreakable World Tour, just over three weeks before it was due to kick off in Birmingham.
According to the BBC, an email sent by Ticketmaster confirmed the news, announcing that it would be refunding all ticket-holders for the five shows.
Earlier this year, Janet laid rumours to rest after cancelling a number of her tour shows due to surgery, saying “My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled,”.
Alongside the UK shows, Janet’s new cancellation forces the postponement of every European date up until early-May. It’s likely that the next US stint (which kicks off in Las Vegas on 14th May) will go-ahead as planned.
