Whilst all eyes are on tonight’s BRIT Awards (which will see the likes of Coldplay, The Weeknd and Rihanna perform, plus a return to the stage from Adele), we cast our minds back two decades to Michael Jackson’s first (and only) appearance at the ceremony – a night which saw his performance of Earth Song publicly interrupted by Jarvis Cocker.
Days after Cocker was arrested for the apparent disorder, the Pulp-frontman was interviewed by Chris Evans on TFI Friday, seemingly unphased by the whole ordeal, whilst also revealing that the stunt was actually a dare (which no-one thought Cocker would carry out).
