Following last year’s purchase of Wu-Tang Clan’s one-off Once Upon a Time in Shaolin LP (which cost him a cool $2m), absolute dickhead Martin Shkreli (aka the dude who upped the price of an HIV and Malaria-battling drug to the point that it became unachievable for most), has now thrown in a new offer to buy Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo.
In a very-public message over Twitter, Shkreli sought to be even-more hated by offering Yeezy $10m for the album, so it “don’t get released publicly”.
The messages, which coincided with The Life Of Pablo‘s huge unveiling at last night’s Madison Square Gardens Yeezy Season 3 launch, seemed to continue as the night unfolded with Shkreli then posting his official consideration offer.
The self-proclaimed ‘pharmaceutical entrepreneur’ then ended his outreach by claiming that “Kanye and his label are legally required to take my offer letter to their Board of Directors”, before capping off “This should delay the album by a few days”.
What a dick!
Fingers-crossed that won’t happen, but in the case that it does, someone’s managed to capture the audio from last night’s The Life Of Pablo debut, which you can stream over here.
