Radio 1 have announced plans for the return of their Big Weekend for 2016.
Set to hit Exeter’s Powderham Castle on 28 & 29th May, this year’s Big Weekend will see headline support from Coldplay, whilst Ellie Goulding, Chase and Status, Craig David and Bring Me The Horizon make up the rest of the so-far-confirmed lineup.
Confirmed by Nick Grimshaw on his breakfast show earlier today, 2016’s R1 Big Weekend follows last year’s impressive stint in Norwich, which saw the likes of Taylor Swift and Florence and the Machine amongst the major artists on the bill.
