With line-up details expected to be announced over the coming months, it seems one major act has already seeped through the cracks, with rumours heavily pointing to Justin Bieber gracing this summer’s V Festival.

According to Mirror.co.uk, Bieber, who’s currently riding high in the global charts with multiple tracks from his new Promise LP, has signed a £1m deal to play both Chelmsford and Staffordshire this August.

All eyes are set on V Festival to pull out out the stops for 2016 as the annual event celebrates its 21st birthday, and Bieber would be a major draw for ticket holders – ultimately give British fans another chance of seeing the US star after his October tour sold out in record time.

Justin’s appointment will also be the latest in a long-line of big-name global artists that has graced V Fest, with previous years seeing the likes of Beyonce, Eminem and Justin Timberlake as headliners. A source close to The Mirror adds that “Bieber will bring loads of celebrities to the Essex site. He’s bound to party afterwards, as he loves London clubs. It’ll be one of the best afterparties of the summer.”
