Last year’s You Work For Me gave us the first piece of fresh Laura Mvula material since her spellbinding Sing To The Moon debut. Today however, Mvula returns in full, dropping Overcome, the lead single from her upcoming anticipated album The Dreaming Room.
Premiered by Annie Mac as her latest ‘Hottest Record’, Overcome also hears Laura team up with Nile Rodgers (his signature riffs instantly-recongisable from the word go) – a partnership paved by Rodgers’ own appreciation of Laura’s aforementioned Sing to The Moon.
