Following this morning’s news of David Bowie’s tragic loss against his 18-month fight with cancer, Rough Trade have announced they will donate all profits of his material sold throughout January to Cancer Research.

Announcing the news on Twitter earlier today, Rough Trade confirmed that that all their stores will be partaking (London, Nottingham and New York), and is more than likely to include Bowie’s latest (and final) full-length studio project Blackstar, released just last Friday – the album is currently at No.1 in the UK iTunes charts alongside over 40 other major iTunes markets.
