With two acclaimed EPs already in the bag, plus a debut full-length album on the way, it’s only right that we place Frances amongst our ‘Ones To Watch’ longlist.
Signed to Disclosure’s Method Records imprint (themselves on production duties of much of Frances’ original material), the 22-year old’s silky vocals are certainly likely to help her along the way as a bonafide British export. Indeed it’s her latest single Borrowed Time, co-written with Howard Lawrence, that’s likely to turn heads even further, and whilst still a couple of weeks off-release, is already winning Frances heaps of accolade from blogs and critics alike.
Add to that a trio of sold-out London dates a while back, PLUS her more-than-memorable Live Lounge rendition of Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean, we wouldn’t be surprised if Frances reaches the Sam Smith-equivelant heights over the coming years.
