In a surprising (yet heartfelt) move, Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun has made a public appeal for fans to get behind a rival chart contender, potentially knocks the Purpose singer off the race for this week’s Christmas No.1.
Tweeting moments ago, Braun urged Bieber, plus Ed Sheeran, to unite their huge Twitter following together, in a bid to drive the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust’s A Bridge Over You to the top spot.
“Hmmm. @justinbieber @edsheeran time to do the right thing boys. #giveback” tweeted Braun, following the recent announcement of the Choir trailing just 662 combined sales behind Justin’s Love Yourself.
Bieber then added to fuel, saying “so for 1 week it’s ok not to be #1. Let’s do the right thing & help them win. It’s Christmas”
To pit yourselves in the race, you can download Love Yourself here, or A Bridge Over You, here. The final winner will be announced on Christmas Day.
