Video: Wretch 32 – Fire In The Booth (Live for 1Xtra)

Wretch 32 returned to 1Xtra’s Fire In The Booth over the weekend, delivering four minutes of brilliance so great that it even silenced Charlie Sloth.

Supported by Avelino, Wretch threw down one of the finest verses we’ve ever had (across The xx’s Intro backbeat), paying homage to multiple figureheads across the grime, pop and rap scene (particularly Jay Z – “I’m tryna lay the Blueprint and give you Reasonable Doubt, so when you Watch The Throne you can see me Change Clothes”).

You can watch Wretch take the helm from just over the four-minute mark, though we highly suggest you watch the full thing if only to witness Avelino throw his weight down too.
