British electronic collective CROOX have announced their return with new track Crying, the lead cut from their upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore EP.
If you’re into your James Blake/Jamie Woon-esque beats, then this one’s definitely for you – Crying continues where the four-piece’s debut project EU left off (albeit with added levels of maturity), and is a gorgeous slice of minimalistic/lo-fi electronic trip-hop (yeh, might sound a mouthful but that’s now a genre…. we think!).
Of the break-up track, CROOX allude Crying as a “celebration of not having to deal with anyone’s issues, and actually looking forward to someone else having to deal with it”.
