Florence and The Machine have been confirmed as the latest headliner for British Summer Time 2016, following on the footsteps of Take That and the recently-announced Mumford and Sons.
Announced moments ago, Florence & co will make their debut appearance at BST, and marks a strong year for the band, following appearances at Coachella, the Apple Music Festival and of course their headline show at this summer’s Glastonbury Festival. The Florence Welch-fronted group also delivered their brilliant new LP How Big How Beautiful back in June, so expect their headline British Summer Time show to showcase much of that new material, alongside the rest of their vast discography.
The 2nd July show will also see Florence joined by Kendrick Lamar, Jamie xx and Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange), with more to be announced soon.
