As they prepare for the release of their debut EP early next year, The Naked Eye, the latest project from Londoner Frenchie, has shared the collection’s lead track, River of No Return.
Delivering Amy Winehouse-levels of confidents (and Billie Holiday-beauty) all across an embracing head-nodding electronic undertone, River of No Return marks a promising entrance to the aforementioned forthcoming six-tracker. Similarly, The Naked Eye as an all-encompassing project, seems to deliver the lo-fi-trip-hop sounds that made early-Morcheeba so endearing.
