Benjamin Clementine wins 2015 Mercury Music Prize

Following in the footsteps of last year’s champions Young Fathers, Benjamin Clementine has been crowned the winner of this year’s Mercury Music Prize for his acclaimed album At Least For Now

Announced moments ago by Lauren Lavern, At Least For Now fought off fierce competition from the likes of Wolf Alice, Ghostpoet, Jamie xx and more, and sees the British/French musician walk away with a £20,000 cash prize (alongside the accolade itself).

Clementine accepted the award, bringing some of the eleven other finalists onstage, before dedicating his prize to those who lost their lives in the recent Paris massacre.
