Mercury Music Prize 2015: Nominations announced

Following huge anticipation, the nominations for this year’s coveted Mercury Music Prize have been announced in full.

Unveiled by Lauren Laverne on her 6Music show earlier this morning, the 2015 Mercury nominations delivered expected places for the likes of Wolf Alice (My Love Is Cool) and Jamie xx (In Colour), whilst deserved nods also went by way of Soak’s Before We Forgot To Dream and Ghostpoet’s Shedding Skin.

Check the full Mercury Music Prize nominations below (and click on each title to stream direct); the winner will be announced by Lauren Laverne on 20th November with the event being broadcast live on BBC4 direct from BBC’s Radio Theatre.
