Duke Dumont’s new Blasé Boys Club volume 1 EP has landed, and you can stream the mini-project here in full.
Coinciding with the Duke’s upcoming US tour (which kicks off this Sunday), the Blasé Boys Club volume 1 EP is the first offshoot from an overarching series of new releases. Announced a couple of months back, the producer said of Blasé Boys Club volume 1, “I’ve been thinking of adapting the release format from a traditional album for a while. The Blasé Boys Club series will be my outlet for music which would have previously been considered songs for my albums. Rather than the old format of the LP, the new way allows me the freedom to bring music to people quicker, and more regularly.”
Spearheading the four-track project is the EP’s lead single Ocean Drive, whilst Chicago house pioneer Robert Owens appears on the jazz-enthused Robert Talking.
