Audio: Maribou State – ‘Wallflower’ (Simona Drive Remix)

Ahead of next month’s release of their special edition Portraits Remixed LP, Maribou State have shared a new edit of Wallflower, courtesy of London-duo Simona Drive.

Following in the footsteps of Lane 8’s gorgeous remix at the turn of the month, Simona Drive’s revision hears an enchanting (if not almost gothic) interpretation of the original – swooping where need be, with light vocal touches from the halfway point.

Definitely one you need to cast your ears over (though we’d suggest purely confined to the Sunday night ‘dropping off to bed’ mindset to help drift you away).
