Hailing from the sunny heights of Cardiff, Bodhi have been consistent at delivering fine-quality beats over the past couple of years – from soulful-house to the future variation of the genre, Bodhi’s climb has been well-and-truly noted by many publications that nod to ‘that side of the industry’.
It’s exciting therefore for us to see that the lads have been picked up by Black Butter Records, as they look to deliver their latest joint, Brawd.
Out today (you can cop Brawd via the iTunes & Apple Music links), the duo’s new single takes a darker turn to what many may have been expecting following their huge success with George The Poet’s My City – there’s some clear Black Butter-camp influences there – menacing bass/acid-led stabs thrown in, though still keeping the ‘bouncy’ vibe that Bodhi seem to have been known for over the years.
