Admittedly we’re late to the game on this one (damn Bestival – let’s just say we were sidetracked by other things when this one dropped on Friday), but ho-hum, such is life.
Anyhoo, Maverick Sabre, arguably one of our favourites on the scene, has shared the official video for Come Fly Away following the track’s audio premiere a week ago.
Don’t expect anything big, bold and brashy with this visual (that’s part of Mav’s beauty – he can let his incredible tones tell the story, both visually and audibly) – it’s more a reassuring clip that helps deliver on the song’s initial subject of finding the light within inner-struggle.
Adding to the excitement of new Maverick Sabre music, however, comes the all-important announcement of THAT second album (we’ve been waiting what seems like an eternity for a Lonely Are The Brave sequel); Innerstanding, which lands toward the end of next month, will feature the likes of Come Fly Away alongside previous single Walk Into the Sun, so hit the iTunes and Apple Music links straight away to get your preorder on.
