Audio: Louis Mattrs – ‘Superman’

So here we were, last night, close to collapsing post-Bestival, with some background noise courtesy of Mistajam’s 1Xtra show, when a track came on that was just beautiful we just had to crank it up. That song was Superman, courtesy of Louis Mattrs (whom some may recognise following his Chase and Status-collaboration Lost & Not Found many moons ago).

To put it simply, Superman is strong as fuck – a silky-smooth R&B jam that gets us far too excited for his upcoming EP Slow Waves. There’s a strong sense of ‘head-nodding funk’ to this one, and it really is a cut above the rest versus Louis’ contemporaries.

Grab a listen below – we’ve also added Superman onto our ‘Best of September’ playlist, because, well, it really is THAT good.
