Whilst lucky Southern Hemispheric fans have been able to grab Hermitude’s new album Dark Night Sweet Light for a few months now, the duo’s latest collection doesn’t reach these shores until October unfortunately, so in the meantime, we’ve had to make do with a drip-feed of material in the interim.
We’ve already had the dazzling The Buzz (which, even four months on, still gets constant spins here), however today the Aussie twosome have shared Hazy Love – their dreamy new collaboration with our very own Estelle, and to be honest, Miss Swaray has never sounded better.
Set as a bonus track to the new project, Hazy Love fully lives up to its title, providing listeners a trip into a soothing (and calming) mindscape. This one isn’t as ‘raw’ as the aforementioned The Buzz, but it does go some way to show how beautiful electronica and soul can be when they’re expertly brought together.
Cop a listen to Hazy Love below; Dark Night Sweet Light is available to preorder via iTunes / Apple Music
