Hot on the heels of frontman Jamie xx’s impressive debut album In Colour, The xx have announced that a brand new collection from the trio is on the cards.
Confirming the news on Instagram earlier this afternoon, the band wrote:
“We are working hard on our 3rd album! Can’t wait to share it with you xx The xx”
The as-yet-untitled project, the follow-up to 2012’s Coexist has yet to receive any kind of official release date. In the meantime, check out the video for one of The xx’s biggest hits Chained, at the top of this post:
