Following yesterday’s announcement of Justin Bieber’s subsequent removal from the event’s lineup, Ed Sheeran has confirmed his plans to take Bieber’s place at this month’s Fusion Festival.
Announcing the news earlier today, Sheeran took to Twitter to explain further, saying “I know I said Wembley was my last UK show of this tour but my mate had a cancellation on his festival so I’m filling in last minute. It’s called Fusion fest, it’s in Birmingham, and it’s on the 28th of August, this is the last booked UK show of the X tour. No more after.”
The X hitmaker (who only yesterday revealed his all-new collaboration with Macklemore, Growing Up), will join the impressive list of already-announced acts, including Tinie Tempah, Rudimental, Becky Hill, MNEK and more on August 28th weekend.
