Few could argue Duke Dumont’s success as anything other than fully-deserved – essentially, the British producer has a fine taste for what makes just great feel-good music, and today he continues that theme in the deliverance of his all-new single Ocean Drive.
Marking a slight departure from his previous house explorations, Ocean Drive hears Dumont err toward silky disco-R&B, though packaging it up so neatly that crowds would enjoy whether in the midst of an Ibiza set, or nestled in the top half of the latest “NOW” compilation.
Ocean Drive is an absolute gem, and to coincide with the release, Duke Dumont has also confirmed plans to bring his Blasé Boys Club live show to Camden’s Koko in September. Tickets are set to go onsale ‘soon’, though you may want to head over to the Duke’s official website (here) to pre-register.
