As she prepares to drop her forthcoming album Blood later this week, Lianne La Havas has shared one of the new record’s inclusions, Tokyo.
The sublime, mid-tempo ballad (which to us, feels an ‘unofficial’ follow-up to her stunning No Room For Doubt from her debut project), initially received its UK premiere back in May at Lianne’s intimate Wilton Music Hall gig. One month later, Tokyo garnered a larger audience at Glastonbury (and the first time we laid ears to the cut).
Take a listen to the track in full at the top of this post; Blood lands on Friday – hit the iTunes link to preorder and to receive Tokyo for free as an instant grat-track!
