So, as it turns out, Sweden’s house music isn’t all shitty EDM, and it seems we have producer Tobtok to thank for that.
A year ago we wrote about Tobtok after he shared his stunning remix of Blonde’s Higher Ground, and today it seems he still knows how to make incredible grooves, with his stunning new track Shelter.
Enlisting London-based Alex Mills for vocal duties, Shelter instantly resonates as an uplifting summer jam – rewind to when house music played second fiddle to the growing rise of EDM in the mid-2000s, and you get a steer for where Tobtok is heading with this one, and it’s no bad thing either.
Take a listen for yourself at the top of this post; we’re massively digging Shelter so let us know your thoughts too. The track lands on 28th August.
