Don’t get us wrong, as advocates of the more ‘specialist’ side of the music sphere (grime, house, electronica etc) sometimes we do get a bit warped up into the whole ‘doof doof doof’ side of things; however fortunately the British scene still produces someone like Dornik to shimmer us back into a more head-nodding demeanour.
Today, the PMR-signed artist drops off the wonderful Stand In Your Line, a straight-up delivery of some good old smooth soul. With predecessors like Drive and On My Own already in the bag, Dornik’s forthcoming self-titled studio album definitely seems like an enticing proposition.
