Chance The Rapper’s might in the hip-hop world is something that’s been both humbling and inspiring, particularly if you’ve been following his story over the past couple of years.

Bar being close pals with James Blake (they’ve also recorded a shedload of material together too, apparently), Chance recently showed the world that you can still grasp success without having any major-label backing. His recent record with his band The Social Experiment proved just that – clocking up millions of downloads as a free iTunes release with little-to-no promotion.

On Friday, Kanye West nodded to Chance’s success in the game, shouting out the rapper as Yeezy took to the stage to headline RBC Ottawa’s Bluesfest (following his set pretty-much after Chance).

“One of the most talented young new artists” shouted Kanye about Chance, and the latter’s reaction was priceless. Check out the full moment below:
