Audio: Faithless – ‘Bombs’ (Claptone Remix)

20 years ago, Maxi Jazz, Rollo Armstrong and Sister Bliss came together to launch Faithless, an act that not only helped shape the British music landscape at the time, but also assisted in redefining electronic music, in its purest form, globally.

As such, the trio are prepping the release of Faithless 2.0, a collection consisting of new material alongside remixes of their vast back catalogue. One of the first fresh edits to be lifted from the project comes from Claptone who’s turned his attentions to reinvigorating Bombs (the 9 year-old track from Faithless’ 2006 record, To All New Arrivals).

There’s no word (as yet, anyway) as to when Faithless 2.0 will land; in the meantime check out Claptone’s Bombs remix at the top of this post. Both Faithless and Claptone also shared a visual treatment for the cut, which can be seen below. Big up Mixmag for the premiere!
