Ahead of the new collection’s release this coming weekend, Kayper has unveiled the project’s title-track The Terminal.
Enlisting newcomer Janai for vocal duties, The Terminal is one heck of an exciting cut – Janai smashes it in a similar fashion as Moko (herself whose past collaborations with the likes of Chase and Status and Kove seem to throw everything else out the water), whilst the instrumental is as arresting from the start as it is throughout. There also seems to be a Gorgon City-esque sound to this one (Go All Night-esque), and that’s no bad thing whatsoever; smartly it also seems that Kayper is honing beat that may even put Disclosure on second fiddle.
Add this one onto your playlists folks – this is a biggie! The Terminal (aka, the full EP) drops on Monday.
