Exclusive Mix: Alex Adair – ‘Making Music Feel Better’

Soundcloud really is a wonderful proposition, and you needn’t look much further than Alex Adair for proof of that. Back in 2014, the young producer threw on his silky-smooth debut Make Me Feel Better, a track that surprisingly was only created as part of his university course. Throw in a couple of million streams, plus a nod from Radio 1, and all of a sudden, Adair had a hit on his hands.

Fast-forward a few months, and following some golden remixes for the likes of Ed Sheeran and Jessie Ware, Make Me Feel Better hit Top 20 in the UK charts. Pretty good going for a university project!

Not only that, but the success of the track also provided a perfect launchpad for Alex to further his career as a house-music extraordinaire, and as such, the musician confirmed earlier this week he had signed to Black Butter Records, one of our favourite indie labels to emerge over the past half-decade.

To celebrate our relaunch, Alex provided us with an exclusive one hour set, full of some of his aforementioned remix work, alongside some of his favourite house tracks over the past twelve months. Stay locked to this fellow, he’s someone you’re going to be hearing a LOT from as time goes on.
