French producer FKJ has unveiled his gorgeous remix of Lianne La Havas’ Unstoppable, the lead single from the soul artist’s forthcoming album Blood.
Contrary to the smooth feel of the original, FKJ takes Unstoppable to dazzling heights, throwing in some sharp, twisted 2-step that oozes sunshine. It’s also here that you can further understand Jimmy Napes’ influence on modern-day laid-back dance beats – whilst he may not have had huge input into the track itself, there’s a definitive ‘Napes-esque’ feel to this one, and that makes FKJ’s effort all-the-more commendable.
