New music: Sam Smith – ‘Lay Me Down’ (Flume remix)

Flume’s epic 2014 remix of Lorde’s Tennis Court is still one of the most impeccable edits of ANY song we’ve heard to date – firmly launching the Australian producer on the map, and thus winning legions of new fans who may have been unacquainted with his breathtaking self-titled debut album.

Fast forward into 2015, and Flume’s been keeping quite low for a while now. However, self-confessed to have been spending the last few months in the studio working on “a bunch of new material”, the remixer/producer has announced his return to the scene, unveiling his remix of Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down… and it’s an absolute gem!

Stream below in full; British Flume fans will be able to catch a glimpse of his all-new material at this summer’s Lovebox Festival.
