Acid house pioneers 808 State have been confirmed to play this summer’s Glastonbury Festival.
Announcing the news on their official website, the group’s confirmed appearance coincides with the week where the full Glastonbury 2015 line-up is expected to be announced (2014 saw the full reveal on 4th April; the previous year saw 28th March). Additionally, toward the end of last year, Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis confirmed that 1st April will see the unveiling of a headline act – with both Foo Fighters and Kanye West confirmed (for the Friday & Saturday night), the final piece of the headline puzzle will be to who’s set to close the show on 28th June.
