Following huge anticipation Chic and Nile Rodgers have debuted I’ll Be There, their first piece of original material in over two decades.
Set to be the lead single from Chic’s upcoming record, It’s About Time (expected to land early in the summer), I’ll Be There uses heavy samples from early unreleased Chic track Love Somebody Today, and is on general release now (“coinciding with the vernal equinox – the time when day and night are of equal length”, says Rodgers).
