Last night’s announcement of Kanye West’s headline slot at this summer’s Glastonbury Festival divided opinion almost as soon as organisers dropped the news, however none moreso than Neil Lonsdale, who quickly set about venting his anger. Hours after the Eavis family confirmed the news, had Lonsdale launched the aptly-titled Cancel Kanye West’s headline slot and get a rock band online petition.

Now, less than a day on (and with over 10,000 signatures to the petition’s name), Lonsdsale has admitted he’s yet to even attend the iconic Worthy Farm jaunt!!

Tracked down by NME earlier today, the petition’s organiser admitted that Glastonbury 2015 will be his first chance to set up camp at the Somerset festival,

According to the publication, Lonsdale has said that whilst he is a ‘Glastonbury virgin’, he has a ticket for this year’s festival and has been checking daily for updates on headliners, having been “ecstatic” with the news that Foo Fighters will headline the Friday night of the event.
