Rihanna has shared more information regarding the direction of her anticipated eighth studio album.
Tentatively titled R8, the new record, which is expected to include her latest single FourFiveSeconds, will be more soulful in its approach, with Rihanna confesses that she wants to “make songs that are timeless”.
“I wanted songs that I could perform in 15 years…. I want an album that I could perform in 15 years” said Rihanna during a recent interview with MTV, continuing “I find that when I get out on stage now, I don’t want to perform a lot of my songs, because they don’t ‘feel like me'”.
Rihanna’s new collection has yet to receive an official release date, however with the star now currently focusing on pushing the new Dreamworks movie, Home, we’d expect the new project to be a little-while-longer yet.
