Blur have announced plans to preview their new album The Magic Whip next week, with a secret show in West London.
The intimate gig, in an unconfirmed West London Venue, will see the band play their first full-length studio collection as a four-piece in sixteen years; tickets will be available via a ballot (similar to Florence and The Machine’s show at the start of the month).
Fans will be selected next week (18th March), with the show commencing two days later on 20th March, though a one-time-only stream, presented by Beats Music will take place at 7pm GMT the following Wednesday.
The Magic Whip goes onsale 27th April and can be preordered via the iTunes link – stream the album’s lead single Go Out below, and head over here to register for next week’s ballot.
