It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from Kiesza – sure she’s jumped on various tracks recently with the likes of Jack Ü (Take Ü There) and Joey Bada$$ (Teach Me), but besides September’s No Enemiesz, things have been all-too-quiet for the Hideaway singer.
That’s all changed though, as today the ex-Naval reserve confirmed the release of the title track of her debut record Sound Of A Woman, alongside a fresh remix by AKA Orange. Keeping the sublime intro in-tact (fortunately – we still think it’s one of the most captivating introductions of any song we’ve heard in a while), AKA Orange (the collaborative effort between Zinc and Genius) deliver an instant bass-led dancefloor stormer, and sets the precedent for the forthcoming Sound Of A Woman remix package (which features the likes of Shift K3Y, DJ S.K.T and The Listenbee).
