Back in January, we were lucky enough to hear a preview of Nathan Sykes’ entry into the solo landscape, sidelining The Wanted’s pop-oriented guise for something far more mature. Today, Sykes fully-delivers as he drops off More Than You’ll Ever Know, a buzz track lifted from his upcoming debut record.
The funky, jazz-enthused track (set as a prelude to the new collection’s official first single), is a sheer sign of what’s to come, and perfectly showcases the direction young Sykes will be venturing toward. Even as a promo-cut, More Than You’ll Ever Know fully helps to champion Nathan’s new sound, and even as a site that focuses more on ‘specialist’ genres, this is as special as they come.
