Last night, Paloma Faith debuted the official video for her new single Beauty Remains; today, the British singer has unveiled her stunning, heartfelt cover of Sinead O’Connor’s iconic 90s hit, Nothing Compares 2 U.
The track, originally recorded by Prince and The Family (though never creating commercial impact), gained global recognition upon its release by O’Connor in 1990, and was recently cited by VH1 Classic as “the second greatest classic love song, behind Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together. Paloma Faith has rerecorded the song as part of her contrbiution to the BRIT Awards and Mastercard’s new Priceless Surprises series, and has been shared 24-hours prior to Faith taking the stage at the 2015 BRIT Awards.
