New music: Florence & The Machine – ‘What Kind Of Man’

Following huge anticipation, Florence + The Machine have premiered their brand new single What Kind Of Man, the lead release from their upcoming third studio album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

Debuted initially on Monday at a private listening party in Shoreditch (where Florence Welch ran through the entirety of the new collection, including new songs Delilah, Caught and the single itself), What Kind Of Man is a commendable, and imposing return to form, from a group who have been keeping a fairly low-profile since their last recording, 2011’s Ceremonials.

Florence + The Machine are gearing up for a long-run of festivals over the summer, and are widely tipped to headline June’s Glastonbury Festival (alongside AC/DC and the Foo Fighters).

Stream What Kind Of Man below, which received its world premiere by Zane Lowe moments ago. The track’s available as an instant download when you preorder How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful on iTunes – hit the link below, following the record’s tracklisting. How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful lands on 1st June.
