New music: Oceaan – ‘Need U / This Woman’s Work’ (ft Lapsley)

Manchester duo Oceaan paid a visit to Huw Stephens’ Live Lounge last night, bringing along special guest Lapsley for a live rendition of their 2014 single Need U.

The stunning rendition (and it is absolutely stunning – your first listen will captivate your mind, body and spirit), is as minimalistic as it is sensual; a wonderful combination of downbeat lo-fi mixed with some enchanting strings set the pace throughout, whilst throwing in elements of Kate Bush’s This Woman’s Work encompass this as a fine work of art rather than a ‘regular Live Lounge visit’.
