Following on from December’s You’re On Madeon has debuted his brand new single, Pay No Mind, the latest cut from his heavily-anticipated debut album, Adventure.
Featuring US indie/electro outfit Passion Pit, Pay No Mind hears elements that grabbed Madeon the world’s attention in the first-place (e.g. beat-distortion akin to Icarus & Cut The Kid), whilst Passion Pit’s lead vocalist Michael Angelakos adds further upbeat angles to the song.
Premiered by Zane Lowe earlier this evening, Pay No Mind also hears some strong Daft Punk influences (particularly toward the distorted-guitar breakdown by the 2:20 mark), and all-in, further drums-up anticipation for Madeon’s new project.
With Adventure‘s 30th March release looming, Madeon has also confirmed details of a one-off UK date in celebration of the record (set to hit London’s Oval Space on 31st March, one day after the album’s release )
Tickets for the full show are onsale, direct from Ticketmaster; click here for more information and stream Pay No Mind in full below. Adventure can also be preordered via the iTunes link:
