Over the weekend, Dizzee Rascal handed Mistajam a brand new track, bringing Giggs along for Nutcrackerz.
Featuring an intro sample of Tchaikovsky’s iconic Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (yes… really!!), Nutcrackerz takes a complete twist versus Dizzee’s 2014 cuts Couple Of Stacks and Pagans, yet further cements his intent to return to the UK rap/grime scene having self-confessed at being too involved in the pop/dance territory over the past couple of years.
We can’t work out whether it’s the instrumental that grabs us instantly or if it’s both Giggs and Dizzee’s distinct flows… either way, they work INCREDIBLY well together.
Stream the radio rip below in full; Nutcrackerz is set to drop ‘soon’ though confirmed release date is TBA.
