Following his impressive October EP, The Holiday, Friend Within starts off the year with brand new cut, The Square, the first of two pieces of all-new music to set 2015 off in a deep way.
Placing a greater emphasis on the progressive instrumental, The Square seems closer to the title-track of Friend Within’s The Label (from last summer) versus the aforementioned lead from The Holiday – more mechanical in its approach, and potentially more one for the darker clubs out there (think Berghain and dirty Soho nights). Ultimately, a pumping track, but in a total flip to his previous work.
